Pemberton Wine Region
Pemberton is one of Western Australia's newest regions to gain interim determination status. The Vineyards were first established in the 80s and have flourished ever since. The majority of vineyards lie between the Donnelly River in the north and the Warren River in the region's centre.
These vineyards are creating exciting wines, its most successful variety is Chardonnay. The region is also showing great promise with their Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and Verdelho.
The area is known as Karri Country due to its beautiful Karri forests. Tourists can enjoy fine wines and beautiful scenery at one of the many wineries located here.
