Things To Do - Yanchep
The Yanchep National Park is located just 50kms north west of Perth. The region surrounding the park is rich in natural beauty, wildlife and history. The park itself is full of contrasts from the banksia woodlands to the wetlands to the limestone caves. Located inside the park is a 240 metre long boardwalk which is great for koala spotting. Row across the freshwater lake or relax with a picnic by the lake's edge.
The town is full of Aboriginal and colonial history. Tours operate to help you discover insight into the ancient Aboriginal culture of the Nyoongar people. Another favourite is the Crystal Caves tour which takes you deep underground on a magical journey.
